2. Purpose
Tesela is a free tool to visualise how tiles would be laid on a rectangular floor or wall, compare layouts, get an estimate of pieces, source tiles and purchase, and create a scaled PDF. Calculation happens in the user’s browser, with no account and no price.
3. Terms of use
- Results are an estimate: offcut reuse is a heuristic, assumes plain tile and does not count breakage beyond the allowance the user adds. It does not guarantee the lowest possible number nor an exact purchase quantity.
- Tesela is not a professional installation plan: before cutting and buying, the user or their installer must set out the layout and check the measurements.
- The printed size of the PDF depends on the print dialog and your printer (choose “actual size” or “100%”).
- The user is responsible for the measurements they enter.
4. Advertising and analytics
At the date of the last update the site shows no advertising and uses no analytics. If that changes, this notice and the privacy policy will be updated.
5. Intellectual property
Texts, design and code belong to the owner, except third-party rights (libraries and fonts under free licenses). Measurements entered and PDFs the user creates are the user’s own.
6. Liability
The service is provided “as is”, without guarantee of continuous availability or absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for losses from buying, cutting or installing based only on the estimate without checking the result. This does not limit consumer rights.
7. Governing law
This site is governed by Spanish law; consumers keep the rights and venues their rules grant them.
